The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV and hybrid energy systems. Mirahub Limited is seeking a skilled and results-driven Solar Engineer to join our team The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure that solar projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Keep up to date with emerging solar technologies, products, and industry best practices. Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), bills of quantities (BOQs), and other project documentation. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on installed solar systems. Design and size solar PV, inverter, battery, and hybrid energy systems based on client requirements. Coordinate and supervise technicians, contractors, and installation teams. Provide technical support to clients, sales teams, and other internal departments. Prepare technical reports, installation reports, maintenance records, and project close-out documentation. Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical, safety, and quality standards. Conduct site surveys, energy assessments, and feasibility studies for solar projects. Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of solar systems. Troubleshoot and resolve faults relating to solar panels, inverters, batteries, wiring, and other electrical components. Ensure proper handling, installation, and configuration of lithium batteries and energy storage systems. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary. Requirements: Relevant professional certifications in solar/renewable energy will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently and supervise technical teams. Good knowledge of electrical safety practices and applicable industry standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams. 2–5 years of relevant experience: in solar PV design, installation, commissioning, or maintenance. Willingness to travel to project sites when required. B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication, project management, and teamwork skills. Experience: with solar design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope, PV*Sol, or similar software is an advantage. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, lithium batteries, electrical protection, and energy storage systems.
