Responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's procurement processes. The Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in achieving cost savings, mitigating risks, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the procurement function. Key Performance Areas: Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals. Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms. Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, including pricing, payment, and delivery terms. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address contractual issues and ensure contract adherence. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Supplier Relationship Management: Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with contractual agreements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize performance, quality, and delivery. Identify and onboard new suppliers, fostering a competitive and diverse supplier base. Cost Management: Conduct cost-benefit analysis for procurement decisions, identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Implement cost management strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate and mitigate cost fluctuations. Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve potential risks. Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions and supplier financial stability. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the continuity of supply. Procurement Policies and Compliance: Collaborate with finance and legal teams to address any compliance issues. Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with established procurement processes. Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
