The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting transactions, supporting financial reporting, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial policies and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience: working in a fast-paced FMCG, retail, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor customer accounts, outstanding invoices, collections, and supplier payments. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Reconcile inventory records with accounting records and investigate discrepancies. Monitor sales revenue, expenses, inventory-related transactions, and operating costs. Prepare and maintain accurate financial schedules and supporting documentation. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Ensure timely remittance and documentation of applicable taxes and statutory obligations. Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions and accounting records. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, ledgers, and other financial accounts. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Identify financial discrepancies, errors, and control weaknesses and recommend correctiactions. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned Requirements: Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or a similar environment. High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
