Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - Rotating Schedule Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Plan and oversee maintenance operations by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of facilities and equipment. Supervise maintenance personnel and contractors by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring work is completed to required standards. Maintain facility assets by ensuring buildings, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and other systems remain safe, functional, and reliable. Develop and manage maintenance budgets by monitoring expenditures, controlling costs, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards by implementing maintenance policies, conducting inspections, and promoting safe work practices. Maintain maintenance records and reports by documenting inspections, repairs, equipment performance, and maintenance schedules for effective asset management. Collaborate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions, respond to maintenance requests promptly, and support a high-quality customer or guest experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' relevant maintenance or engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory position, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, water treatment systems, fire protection systems, and building maintenance. Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance planning, facilities management, asset preservation, and contractor supervision. Sound understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, fire safety requirements, and maintenance best practices. Strong leadership, organisational, budgeting, and project management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems or related software is an advantage. High level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and commitment to operational excellence.
