Read more about this company Company Drivers Job Type Full Time Qualification OND , Secondary School (SSCE) Experience: 3 - 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Driving Key Responsibilities: Safely drive company vehicles to transport executives, staff, clients, and visitors to scheduled destinations within Lagos and occasionally outside the state. Plan and execute optimal routes using in-depth knowledge of Lagos roads, especially Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, and surrounding areas, to avoid traffic delays and ensure punctuality. Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition, including daily inspections (oil, water, tire pressure, fuel), basic upkeep, and timely reporting of mechanical issues or servicing needs. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities in the vehicle logbook. Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, speed limits, and company driving policies at all times. Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthiness, vehicle licence) are current and available for inspection. Assist with light administrative tasks such as document delivery, airport runs, and errands as assigned by management. Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional, polite, and discreet conduct when transporting executives and handling company matters. Report any accidents, traffic violations, mechanical breakdowns, or security concerns immediately to the supervisor. Requirements: & Qualifications Minimum of SSCE/OND with at least 5 credits including English Language. Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence (appropriate class for company vehicles). Must possess a valid Lagos State Driver’s Permit (LASDRI). Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience: as a driver in a corporate organization, with verifiable references. Must be highly conversant with Lagos roads, especially Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, and mainland alternate routes to navigate heavy traffic and peak-hour conditions efficiently. Must reside in or around Lagos Island (or be willing to relocate immediately). Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and well-groomed. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and familiarity with smartphone navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze) is an advantage. Availability for early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends as business needs require.
