We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Internal Audit Manager Job Location: No 1 Akaka Road, Ode Remo, Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Department: Internal Audit Industry: Automobile Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Internal Audit Manager to lead our Internal Audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing audit strategies, evaluating internal controls, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving operational efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, financial, and operational auditing experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on organizational risk assessments. Lead financial, operational, compliance, and inventory audits across all departments. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management systems. Review financial records, procurement activities, inventory management, production processes, and operational procedures. Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and areas of potential fraud or financial loss. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations. Provide advisory support to management on internal control improvements and business process optimization. Supervise and mentor Internal Audit Officers and other audit personnel. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies during statutory audits and inspections. Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 7–10 years of relevant experience: in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field will be an added advantage. Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, ANAN, CISA, or equivalent is highly desirable. Experience: in the manufacturing or industrial sector is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance. Excellent analytical, investigative, leadership, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience: with ERP systems is an added advantage. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
