The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, converting leads into clients, and managing relationships across Romanspage’s service lines. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Revenue Growth (Primary Focus): Prepare and deliver business proposals, service pitches, and partnership presentations. Consistently meet or exceed revenue and client acquisition targets. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting to contract execution. Negotiate terms, scope, and pricing in collaboration with management. Lead client acquisition efforts targeting SMEs, organisations, hubs, NGOs, and programme partners. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across HR4SMEs, learning programmes, and consulting services. Client Management & Relationship Building: Gather client feedback and translate insights into improved service offerings. Coordinate onboarding of new clients and handover to delivery teams. Maintain strong post-engagement relationships to support renewals, referrals, and upselling. Serve as a primary relationship manager for key clients and partners. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion: Identify new markets, sectors, and partnership opportunities aligned with Romanspage’s services. Build strategic partnerships with SME networks, hubs, donor programmes, and ecosystem actors. Support development of new offerings and packages based on market demand. Marketing Oversight: Track lead quality and conversion performance in collaboration with the marketing team. Align marketing campaigns, content, and messaging with sales priorities and target clients. Ensure marketing outputs (social media, email, events, content) are conversion-focused, not just visibility-driven. Oversee the media and marketing team to ensure activities directly support lead generation and business development goals. Reporting & Performance Management: Use data to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies. Provide regular business development performance updates to management. Track and report on: Deals closed Revenue generated Opportunities pursued Leads generated Required Skills & Experience: Experience:Proven experience: in business development, sales, or commercial roles, preferably in a Consulting, EdTech or SME support services firm Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree Demonstrated track record of closing deals and generating revenue. Experience: managing or working closely with marketing teams. Core Competencies: Client relationship and account management capability Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
