The role involves reviewing company disclosures, analysing ESG data, identifying risks and opportunities, benchmarking companies, monitoring regulatory developments, and preparing high-quality research reports. We are looking for someone who combines strong research and analytical skills with a good understanding of ESG, sustainability and manufacturing operations. We are seeking a motivated and analytical ESG Research Analyst, Manufacturing Sector to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Labour practices and human rights. Conduct peer comparisons and industry benchmarking. Prepare company research notes, sector reports, presentations, dashboards and briefing materials. Community and stakeholder relations. Assess company performance in areas such as: Energy efficiency and renewable energy. Conduct ESG research and assessments on manufacturing companies and industrial sectors. Participate in client and stakeholder engagements where required. Contribute to ESG and sustainability research and thought-leadership publications. Monitor ESG, sustainability, climate and regulatory developments affecting the manufacturing sector. Climate risk and decarbonisation. Collect, organise and analyse ESG and sustainability data. Greenhouse gas emissions and carbon management. Occupational health and safety. Review company disclosures against relevant sustainability standards and frameworks. Corporate governance, ethics and compliance. Review annual reports, sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, company policies and regulatory filings. Waste, water and pollution management. Identify material ESG risks, opportunities, gaps and emerging trends. Support ESG assessments, ratings, risk assessments and due diligence assignments. Analyse environmental, social and governance performance using quantitative and qualitative information. Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as: Industrial Management. Public Policy. Statistics or Data Analytics. Sustainability. Engineering.
