We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Personal Driver / School Bus Driver Location: Isolo / Oke-Afa / Ejigbo Axis - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Description We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Personal Driver / School Bus Driver to provide reliable transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the client to appointments and other designated locations, as well as safely transporting a few school children during school terms. Key Responsibilities: Maintain strict adherence to assigned schedules while prioritizing safety at all times. Promptly report and follow up on any mechanical faults, repairs, or maintenance requirements: to prevent operational disruptions. Ensure both the client's vehicle and the school bus are kept clean, neat, and presentable at all times, both internally and externally. Perform any other driving or vehicle-related duties as may reasonably be assigned. Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, licence, roadworthiness certificates, and other statutory documents, remain valid and are renewed on time. Safely transport school children during school terms, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off. Safely transport the client to appointments, meetings, and other designated locations. Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and ensure both vehicles are serviced promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety. Exercise discretion, professionalism, and courtesy while carrying out assigned duties. Refuel vehicles as required and maintain accurate records of fuel purchases where applicable. Ensure that both vehicles are always roadworthy, secure, and ready for use. Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company/client policies. Conduct daily routine checks on both vehicles, including tyres, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery, lights, windscreen wipers, and fuel levels. Working Hours: During School Terms: Daily from 5:30 a.m. (or as required). During School Holidays/Non-School Days: Daily from 8:00 a.m. (or as required by the client). Requirements: Professional appearance with good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills and a commitment to punctuality. Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations. Minimum of 5 years' professional driving experience. Valid Nigerian driver's licence with a good driving record. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and routine inspections. Previous experience: as a personal, executive, family, or school bus driver. Additional Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates residing within or around Isolo, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo, or nearby areas to ensure timely resumption.
