We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead integrated procurement operations across our manufacturing facility. You will drive end-to-end strategic sourcing for direct raw materials, indirect goods, capital expenditure (CapEx), and plant machinery. In this critical leadership role, you will safeguard material availability, optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), enforce strict quality standards, and mitigate supply disruptions to maintain uninterrupted plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage high-value vendor negotiations, supplier selection, and strategic contract management for manufacturing inputs. Develop and execute category strategies for raw materials, packaging, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), and plant utilities. Track market pricing trends, lead annual budget forecasts, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality. Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts. Oversee vendor auditing, supplier scorecards, and performance metrics for quality compliance (ISO / GMP). Lead and mentor a dedicated team of buyers, technical purchasing officers, and store managers. Build risk mitigation frameworks to protect production schedules against raw material fluctuations, lead-time delays, and global supply chain shocks. Qualifications & Requirements: Technical Skills: High proficiency in manufacturing ERP modules (e.g., SAP MM/PP, Oracle SCM, MRP platforms) and advanced Excel analytics. Core Competencies: Expertise in raw material sourcing, CapEx procurement, contract law, lean manufacturing principles, and executive vendor negotiations. Experience: 5+ years of procurement experience: within a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory / managerial role.
