Read more about this company Management Trainee – Office and People Operations / HR Job Type Contract Qualification MBA/MSc/MA Experience: 0 - 2 years Location Abuja Job Field Human Resources / HR Role Summary: R-DATS Consulting is seeking a smart, proactive and highly organized recent Master’s graduate to join our fast-paced operations engine. This role is designed to groom a future leader capable of managing complex, cross-border field logistics, international donor compliance, and comprehensive office and people operations across Nigeria and beyond. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain deep, hands-on experience: in global development operations, corporate compliance, and team mobilization. Core Responsibilities: Supporting office HR operations, administration, and compliance protocols. Drafting field contract agreements and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with multi-country vendors and consultants. Coordinating field-team deployment logistics, including tracking security clearances, travel mechanics, and per-diem disbursements for high-risk field locations. Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and screening of regional field managers, translators, and data collectors. Contributing to the institutional compliance documents, corporate writing, and staffing matrices of international donor bids (e.g., World Bank, USAID, FCDO). Required Profile & Skills: Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, French Language, or a related field. Core Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, project organization, and multitasking capabilities. Logistics Acuity: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for operational details, risk management, and vendor coordination. Tech Literacy: Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a high level of comfort utilizing digital tools for coordination. AI Literacy: Proficiency or moderate comfort level with AI productivity tools is highly advantageous. Language Skills: Professional working proficiency or fluency in French is highly advantageous, but not compulsory. Programme Duration & Career Path: Duration: 3 months initially, with a performance-based renewal for an additional 3 months (3–6 months total). Retention: Highly successful trainees who demonstrate exceptional performance and business alignment will have the opportunity to be retained as permanent, full-time employees at the end of the programme.
