We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Logistics Officer Location: Shomolu, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time (On-site) Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday Job Summary The role will manage dispatch activities, coordinate riders and drivers, track deliveries, maintain proper logistics records, and ensure that all items are handled safely and delivered according to schedule. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, materials, products, and personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery and collection. Essential Job Functions Ensure compliance with company procedures for the handling and movement of company and client materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, fuel usage, transportation expenses, and related activities. Plan delivery schedules and assign jobs to riders and drivers based on priority and location. Follow up on delayed, incomplete, or unsuccessful deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Monitor deliveries from dispatch to completion and provide timely updates. Maintain a reliable database of logistics vendors, riders, drivers, and service providers. Monitor logistics costs and identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses. Coordinate daily delivery and collection of products, materials, and supplies. Prepare regular logistics reports and highlight operational challenges and recommendations. Verify delivery documentation, customer details, addresses, and contact information before dispatch. Coordinate with Production, Fulfillment, Procurement, Sales, and other relevant departments on logistics requirements. Ensure company vehicles and delivery bikes are used appropriately and maintained in good condition. Ensure all items dispatched are properly documented and accurately delivered. Requirements: Experience: in a printing, branding, e-commerce, manufacturing, or related environment is an advantage. Good knowledge of Lagos routes and locations. Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Must be proactive, responsible, and dependable. Candidates should possess FSLC qualification with a minimum of 2 years' experience: in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or a related role.
