The role will focus primarily on investigating cases involving Business Developers/agents and merchants, including suspected collusion, merchant deception, manipulation of business information, unauthorized activities, fraudulent onboarding, and other forms of misconduct that may result in financial loss to the business or its merchants. Key Responsibilities: Investigate suspected fraud involving BDs/agents, merchants, and other field-facing personnel. Conduct field visits to verify merchant businesses, locations, transactions, and reported activities. Investigate allegations of BDs or agents defrauding, misleading, or taking advantage of merchants. Identify inconsistencies, suspicious patterns, and potential gaps in field processes that may facilitate fraud. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience: in fraud investigation, field verification, loan operations, credit, collections, field operations, or a related role Experience: in fintech, digital lending, banking, or financial services is mandatory. Must reside in either Lagos or Ogun Strong investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills and confidence conducting interviews and investigative calls with merchants and field agents.
