We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Product Manager Location: Lagos Reports to: Head of Business Core Working Relationships: Managing Directors (STC), Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Business Development Officers, Power and Sales Manager, Front End Developer, Multimedia & Graphics Designer and Procurement and Logistics Department Accountabilities (Responsibilities) Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI. Participate in system configuration. Create support and training documents for internal and external users. Perform quality assurance controls on products. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements: for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams. Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching. Coordinate with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions. Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines. Analyse market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans. Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps. Liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience: and drive growth. Analyse competition. Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience. Requirements: The role is open for 2/3/4 days on-site based on availability. BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar fields Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams. Hands-on experience: with web technologies. Previous work experience: as an Associate Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, or similar roles Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behaviour, and marketing techniques.
