This role combines strategic HR management—including US labor law compliance, employee relations, and policy enforcement—with practical operational execution across full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, attendance tracking, and administrative support. Key Responsibilities: US Labor Compliance & Policy Management Ensure strict adherence to US Federal (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, OSHA) and Texas State employment laws and guidelines. Maintain, update, and enforce company policies, employee handbooks, and workplace standards. Oversee employment authorization compliance, including Form I-9 verification and E-Verify processes. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead end-to-end recruitment: draft job descriptions, post listings across US job boards, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews. Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and extend formal offer letters. Execute comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration for new hires. Employee Relations & Performance Management Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and conflict resolution. Support managers with performance review cycles, probationary evaluations, and disciplinary procedures. Foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture. HR Administration & Attendance Records Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital employee personnel files in compliance with US privacy laws. Track daily employee attendance, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and rest periods to prepare accurate data for payroll processing. Provide administrative support, draft formal internal notices, and handle HR correspondence. Job Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of progressive HR experience: handling both administrative operations and compliance within the United States. Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of US federal regulations and Texas labor laws. Technical & Professional Skills Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Workspace, and HRIS/payroll platforms (eg, ADP, BambooHR, or similar). Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; professional tone across all documentation. Detail & Discretion: Demonstrated ability to manage confidential employee records and maintain high accuracy in attendance/payroll reporting. Preferred Certifications SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) or PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation is a strong advantage.
