The Livestock Officer will be responsible for Investigating and analysing different management practices. Maintaining accurate production, breeding, treatment, and inventory records. Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all livestock units. Advising management on livestock expansion, productivity improvements, and best industry practices. Researching environmental conditions to determine their effect on the quality and quantity of animal products. Studing nutritional requirements: of animals and nutritive values of animal feed materials. Devising more efficient feeding techniques. Identifying diseases and causes for concern and mitigating those risks immediately Spotting issues that may lead to mortality before they happen Researching parasite and disease control Qualifications B.Sc / HND in Animal Science or Farm Management.
