The successful candidate will be expected to understand laboratory workflows, engage scientists and laboratory professionals, identify technical needs, and translate those needs into appropriate products and solutions. We are seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Technical Sales Specialist to lead business development across genomics, molecular biology, and related laboratory technologies. This is not a conventional sales role. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate CRM and sales records Build relationships with researchers, laboratory scientists, laboratory managers, and procurement teams Conduct technical product presentations and demonstrations Provide first-level technical support Meet agreed revenue, gross-margin, and business-development targets Follow up opportunities from lead generation through conversion Work with suppliers and Zodel's technical team on complex opportunities Support product evaluations and implementation Understand customer workflows and recommend suitable solutions Maintain an active sales pipeline Develop and manage customers within research, academic, diagnostic, and biotechnology markets Identify new opportunities in genomics and molecular biology Monitor competitor activity and market developments Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical responses (in coordination with the back-office team) Ideal Candidate B.Sc. / B.Tech / M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline Strong understanding of molecular biology workflows Comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical customers. 2–5 years' experience: in technical sales, laboratory applications, molecular diagnostics, life-science distribution, or a related field Familiarity with genomics/NGS is an advantage Working knowledge of PCR/qPCR, nucleic-acid extraction, and molecular testing Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV + short note to: career@zodelbiotec.com using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.
