We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Storekeeper Location: Ogudu, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Operations Manager Job Summary We are seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s store. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of company supplies, equipment, and inventory. The Storekeeper will ensure that stock levels are properly monitored, items are safely stored, and all inventory transactions are accurately documented. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records. Perform other duties as assigned by the Management. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to inventory management. Receive and inspect goods, supplies, equipment, and other items delivered to the company. Monitor stock levels and notify Management when items require replenishment. Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Ensure the store is clean, secure, and properly organised at all times. Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or expired items. Monitor the condition of stored items and ensure proper stock rotation where applicable. Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements. Ensure proper storage and handling of company assets and supplies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock received and issued. Issue items to authorised employees and departments based on approved requests. Prepare regular inventory reports for Management. Support procurement activities by providing accurate information on stock levels and requirements. Properly arrange and store items to ensure easy identification and accessibility. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools. Good knowledge of inventory management procedures. Ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Good organisational and record-keeping skills. 1–3 years of experience: in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity, accountability, and responsibility. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
