We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Principal, Kidvarc Nursery & Primary School Location: Iree, Osun Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will ensure that pupils receive strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, character, creativity, and social development within a safe and supportive learning environment. The Principal will lead the academic and administrative affairs of the elementary school. Key Responsibilities: Organise staff development, meetings, timetables, school programmes, and pupil activities. Provide academic and administrative leadership for the school. Respond to parents’ concerns with fairness, discretion, and professionalism. Prepare periodic reports for the school’s management. Maintain appropriate standards of behaviour, safeguarding, attendance, hygiene, and safety. Promote the school’s Christian values and character-development objectives. Support pupil enrolment, retention, and positive community relations. Oversee the nursery and primary school curriculum. Ensure compliance with government education: requirements: and school policies. Monitor classroom instruction, lesson planning, assessment, and pupils’ progress. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians. Strengthen the teaching of literacy, numeracy, digital skills, and foundational subjects. Ensure accurate academic, attendance, financial, and administrative records. Supervise, support, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff. Minimum Qualifications Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria registration is preferred. Sound knowledge of child development, primary education: methods, and the Nigerian basic education: curriculum. At least three years’ experience: as a Principal, Vice Principal, Head Teacher, Assistant Head Teacher, or senior school administrator. Minimum of seven years’ experience: in nursery or primary education. Master’s degree in Education: or Educational Administration will be an advantage. Candidates with a relevant bachelor’s degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education: may also apply. Bachelor’s degree in Education, preferably in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
