The CI Lead will champion a culture of operational excellence by identifying improvement opportunities, leading cross-functional projects, and embedding Lean methodologies across all operations. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Delta, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: CI Strategy & Leadership: Lead the design and execution of CI strategy across production, maintenance, logistics, and support functions Drive a strong continuous improvement culture across the organization Act as the focal point for CI initiatives and operational excellence programs Coach and guide line managers and supervisors on CI principles and tools Process Improvement & Optimisation: Lead identification and elimination of waste, inefficiencies, and process losses Conduct regular Gemba walks and drive actionable insights Facilitate process mapping and redesign initiatives (intake, milling, packing, dispatch) Lead root cause analysis using structured methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) Ensure implementation and sustainment of process improvements Data Analysis & Performance Management: Own tracking and reporting of key operational KPIs including downtime, yield losses, output efficiency and waste reduction Develop and maintain CI dashboards and performance reports Provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making Monitor impact and sustainability of improvement initiatives CI Tools Methodologies Deployment: Lead deployment and sustainment of CI tools such as Lean Manufacturing principle, 5S and Workplace Organization, Standard Work and SOP optimization and Kaizen events Conduct and supervise 5S audits with measurable outcomes Standardize improved processes and ensure compliance Training & Capability Building: Design and deliver CI training programs for staff across all levels Build internal CI capability within departments Drive employee engagement and participation in improvement initiatives Promote idea generation through suggestion schemes and improvement boards Project Management & Governance: Lead CI projects end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and measurable result Track initiatives, benefits realization, and ROI on CI projects Coordinate CI meetings, workshops, and Obeya sessions Ensure alignment with organizational goals and business priorities Report progress and outcomes to management regularly Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences / Milling Technology Or related discipline Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement roles Proven experience leading CI or Lean transformation initiatives Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum); Black Belt is an advantage Skills & Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen methodologies and Process improvement and optimization Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (dashboards, data analysis) Project management capability Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills Behavioral Competencies: Strong leadership and ownership mindset Results-driven and proactive High level of accountability Excellent communication and coaching ability Strategic thinking with attention to detail Ability to drive change and influence culture Location: Sapele, Delta State Remuneration: NGN 600,000 – 650,000 Monthly About Jobberman (Third Party Recruitment) Jobberman (Third Party Recruitment) is currently hiring across Management & Business Development, Marketing & Communications, and Accounting, Auditing & Finance roles.
