We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Logistics Operations Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The role will manage driver deployment and supervision, vehicle movements, attendance, compliance, incident management and operational reporting, while working closely with the client and internal teams to deliver effective transport operations. The Logistics Operations Officer will oversee day-to-day transport and terminal operations at an assigned location, coordinating truck and driver activities to ensure safe, efficient and seamless operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and escalate operational issues, incidents and breakdowns. Coordinate truck movements and ensure effective vehicle utilisation. Monitor vehicle availability, operational readiness, delays and downtime. Coordinate daily transport and terminal operations. Ensure drivers and vehicles comply with safety and operational requirements. Supervise and manage drivers, including deployment, attendance, conduct and performance. Maintain accurate records and prepare regular operational reports. Requirement Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. Demonstrable experience: in driver supervision and management. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field. Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving and people management skills. Minimum of 3 years' experience: in logistics, transport operations, fleet management or a similar role.
