We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Import and Clearing Officer Location : Numan, Adamawa Job Summary The role ensures adherence to procurement policies, supports the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, and facilitates uninterrupted supply of materials. The Procurement Officer supports procurement activities at DSR Apapa by coordinating purchasing, supplier management, and documentation, with a strong focus on import processes and refinery operations. Key Responsibilities: (Duties & Responsibilities) Request and evaluate quotations from vendors for both operational and project needs. Identify, prequalify, and engage approved suppliers, especially for agro-services, spare parts, and field operations. Follow up on order confirmations and monitor delivery timelines to site. Support audit activities by providing required procurement documentation. Support contract administration and supplier relationship management. Support local sourcing and vendor development to improve supply reliability within the Numan region. Coordinate approval workflows and ensure timely issuance of POs. Maintain accurate procurement records in SAP and physical files. Liaise with logistics, warehouse, agriculture, and finance teams for delivery tracking and invoice processing. Prepare comparative bid analysis and recommend cost-effective and technically suitable options. Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP MM. Generate procurement reports, spend analysis, and vendor performance reviews. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal controls.
