The ideal candidates must have hands-on experience: operating pellet mills in a commercial animal feed manufacturing environment. Candidates from industries outside feed milling will not be considered. Key Responsibilities: Monitor steam conditioning, temperature, moisture levels, and die performance during production. Follow all health, safety, and company operating procedures. Keep the work area clean and maintain good housekeeping practices. Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance of pellet mill equipment. Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards. Set up and adjust pellet mill equipment to achieve required pellet quality and production targets. Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate production and machine operation records. Operate and monitor pellet mill machines to produce high-quality animal feed pellets. Requirements: Feed mill experience: is mandatory. Strong understanding of pellet mill operations, steam conditioning, pellet quality, and machine troubleshooting. Ability to perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance. 5–10 years' experience: operating pellet mills in an animal feed manufacturing company. Experience: working with reputable feed manufacturers (e.g., Karma Agric or similar feed mill companies) is highly preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile Good knowledge of workplace safety and quality control procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. ND or HND in a relevant field. The successful candidate will have proven experience: in: Feed manufacturing processes. Maintaining production efficiency and product quality. Working in a fast-paced feed mill environment.
