The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining imaging equipment, and producing accurate images to support effective clinical diagnosis. Paz Diagnostics is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Radiographer to join our diagnostic team. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment. Perform routine quality-control checks on imaging equipment as required. Follow established protocols for patient identification, examination, and image documentation. Maintain accurate patient and imaging records. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and other imaging examinations within the scope of practice. Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed. Identify and report equipment faults or technical issues promptly. Ensure images produced meet the required diagnostic quality and standards. Participate in health screening programs, medical outreaches, and other diagnostic initiatives when required. Work closely with radiologists, doctors, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis. Keep up to date with developments in radiography, imaging technology, and radiation safety practices. Operate radiographic and imaging equipment safely and effectively. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards. Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly to ensure their comfort and cooperation. Apply appropriate radiation protection and safety measures for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements: Valid practicing license. Bachelor's Degree in Radiography (B.Rad) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Good understanding of radiation protection and patient safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience: working in a diagnostic centre, hospital, or imaging facility is an advantage. Proficiency in operating modern radiographic and imaging equipment. Strong attention to detail and image-quality assessment skills. Minimum of 1–3 years relevant post-qualification experience: is preferred.
