Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and relevant tax regulations. Assist in internal and external audit exercises. Maintain and update accurate accounting records and financial files. Examine bank statements and reconcile them with general ledger entries. Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports for senior management and stakeholders. Review and verify employee expense claims. Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Analyze budgets and prepare detailed expense reports. Ensure timely processing of payments and financial transactions. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Requirements: Proven experience: as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting/finance role. Ability to work alternate saturdays in a month. Candidates residing in Surulere and its environs will have an added advantage. High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Good understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems). Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Bachelor’s Segree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Salary N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
