We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: IGCSE Geography Teacher Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the Cambridge IGCSE Geography curriculum. Use technology, current geographical issues and real-world examples to enrich learning. Prepare students effectively for IGCSE examinations through structured teaching, revision and examination practice. Support students through revision programmes, intervention sessions and examination preparation. Develop students’ ability to interpret maps, graphs, photographs, data and geographical information. Conduct and support fieldwork and geographical investigations where appropriate. Maintain high academic and behavioural expectations within the classroom. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs and abilities of individual students. Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and academic enrichment activities. Monitor, assess and record students’ academic progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Analyse assessment and examination data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions. Teach both physical and human geography concepts using practical, relevant and engaging approaches. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leadership to promote student achievement and wellbeing.
