The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory analyses, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic services. Key Responsibilities: Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory specimens and reagents. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and infection prevention standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers. Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations in accordance with established procedures. Adhere to quality assurance and quality control protocols. Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of laboratory results. Participate in equipment validation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Requirements: Sound knowledge of laboratory quality management systems. 1–2 years post-qualification experience: in a medical laboratory or healthcare facility ( experience: in diagnostics is an added advantage). Bachelor's Degree in medical laboratory science (B.MLS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to operate modern laboratory equipment and diagnostic analyzers. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team. Current practicing license issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
