The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain financial records, support statutory compliance, and provide reliable finance support with strong attention to detail and payroll expertise. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for Laiedon and multiple client organizations. Maintain payroll records, employee salary information, and ensure confidentiality of payroll data. Calculate salaries, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, and process statutory remittances including PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and NHIA. Serve as the finance contact for payroll clients by gathering payroll inputs, preparing reports, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely delivery. Manage finance operations including invoicing, expense tracking, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of accurate financial records. Prepare financial reports, management accounts, cash flow reports, payroll reports, and other financial analysis required for decision-making. Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, audits, and compliance requirements. Identify opportunities to improve finance and payroll processes, reporting systems, and operational controls. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in finance and payroll operations, with experience processing payroll for multiple organizations. Experience working in a multi-client payroll, outsourcing, or professional services environment is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of Nigerian payroll administration, including PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, NHIA, and other statutory compliance requirements. Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and payroll controls Advanced proficiency in Google Sheet, Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, integrity, and confidentiality. Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or ANAN are an added advantage.
