We are seeking an experienced Chinese Translator to join our team on a full-time on-site job arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Chinese and English, with the ability to accurately translate and interpret in both languages. Responsibilities: Assist the Head of the production department in the supervision of daily activities at the factory site. Translate production documents, meeting contents and technical training materials. Duly monitor all production activities and ensure the production staff carry out their duties efficiently Interpret spoken communication at various occasions, on-site interactions between Chinese and non-Chinese speaking staff. Facilitate communication between the security team and Chinese management. Translate security documents, patrol reports and emergency plans. Provide accurate oral and written translations from Chinese to English and vice versa. Assist in managing security patrol and ensure timely communication of emergencies Act as a cultural bridge between the Chinese and Nigerians, facilitating clear communication and mutual understanding. Requirements: Should be responsible and have good management skills. Proven experience: in translation and interpretation, preferably in a mining, business or technical environment. Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 3 years of experience. Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Fluency in speaking and hearing Hausa is a plus Experience: studying or working in China is a plus Salary N450,000 - N500,000 per month.
