We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Internal Auditor Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Retail Pharmacy Job Summary The ideal candidate should have strong experience: in inventory and operational auditing, with the ability to identify stock leakages, procurement irregularities, financial discrepancies, and control weaknesses. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen our internal control systems, safeguard company assets, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency across our branches and departments. Key Responsibilities: Identify and report operational and financial risks. Prepare audit reports and present findings to Management. Review inventory processes and investigate stock variances. Review compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Conduct surprise cash and stock counts. Investigate suspected fraud, theft, abuse, and operational irregularities. Verify POS transactions and bank lodgements. Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements. Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations. Verify the existence and condition of company assets. Perform cash, bank, sales, and POS reconciliation audits. Conduct regular audits of branches, warehouse, and head office operations. Audit procurement and supplier payment processes. Requirements: Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage. Experience: in retail, FMCG, pharmacy, healthcare, supermarket, warehouse, or other multi-branch operations is highly desirable. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 3–7 years' experience: in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or Internal Control. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, numerical, investigative, and report-writing skills. Willingness to travel regularly to company branches. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/business software. Salary N450,000 - N650,000 / month.
