The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships across the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Security Services industries. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Strategy: Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry research to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Security Services sectors. Develop strategic account plans for key clients. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships. Client Relationship Management: Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and business meetings. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients. Build and maintain long-term relationships with government agencies, multinational companies, EPC contractors, indigenous firms, and private organizations. Tendering & Proposal Management: Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HSE, and Technical teams during bid preparation. Identify relevant Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs). Lead bid strategy meetings and ensure timely submission of tenders. Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Negotiate contract terms with clients while protecting company interests. Revenue Generation: Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across all business units. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strategic alliances with partners and subcontractors. Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and business forums. Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations. Contract Management: Participate in contract negotiations and commercial discussions. Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with agreed deliverables. Market Intelligence: Recommend new markets, services, and business expansion opportunities. Prepare market analysis reports and business forecasts. Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, pricing trends, and regulatory changes.
