We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support our property and construction-related operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, valuation, and financial control across property development, renovation, and construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of construction works. Carry out any other duties relevant to quantity surveying and property development as assigned. Prepare and review tender documents and contractor quotations. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts. Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets. Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), budgets, and project cost plans. Prepare regular cost reports and provide management with updates on project financial performance. Conduct market research on construction materials, labour, and service costs. Support procurement and negotiation with contractors, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines. Conduct site visits to verify work completed and materials used. Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, property managers, and other stakeholders. Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle. Review variations, claims, and additional works and assess their financial implications. Maintain accurate project cost records and financial documentation. Evaluate bids and provide recommendations on contractor selection. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Ability to manage multiple projects or assignments simultaneously. Strong knowledge of construction measurement, costing, BOQ preparation, and contract administration. Professional certification/membership such as QSRBN or NIQS will be an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software. Experience: working with contractors and construction suppliers. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience: in quantity surveying, construction, property development, or a related environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cost discrepancies. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong understanding of construction materials, labour costs, and market pricing.
