We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Production Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Part-time Responsibilties Completion of all associated production records in accordance with good documentation practices. Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are strictly being adhered to Troubleshooting and resolving production problems. Regularly train and sensitize Production Team Equipment and area cleaning on regular intervals. Plan and organise production schedule Maintaining waste level not exceeding 0.2%. Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order. Weighing, mixing, filter preparation, filling and packaging. Ensure only quality products are being manufactured Collaborating with Quality Control Officers to establish and execute quality control processes. Transfer of raw and packaging materials as well as finished products. Oversee activities of the Production team Manage pre and post-production operations Comply with all safety and environmental regulations. Perform house-keeping and first-level trouble-shooting of equipment as needed. Reduce cost of production by increasing efficiency Driving strict compliance to GMP, and Safety in the production lines. Ensure only quality Raw and Packing materials are used in Production Processes Manage and submit Production Reports and post-production reconciliations Oversee all manufacturing activities from beginning to end Ensure all Production activities are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Maintaining high quality standards for all products. Identifying and implementing production improvements. Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations. Organise repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment Ensuring that all production targets are met on time and within budget. Set Daily Production goals for production team Ensure Production environment is clean and safe at all times Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues. Ensure all Production Assistants carry out duties according to Production Policies Ensure all Production Utensils and Equipment are well maintained, sterilized and clean at all time Work on continuous improvement initiatives within Production. Effective utilization and management of the production team and workforce. Interpret and execute Production Process according to documented Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) Operating manufacturing equipment, including daily maintenance.
