We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Brewing Technical Expert Requisition ID: 30093441 Location: Ilesa, Osun Job type: Full time Key Purpose The Key Purpose of this role is to facilitate continuous sustainable improvement in product quality throughout the value chain by optimizing brewing technology and ensuring compulsory adherence to standards. Through VPO practices, this role is to ensure that there is a superior performance relating to Governance against standards, Trending and aiding in foresight of the department, and Innovation aspects, all executed through correct VPO practices. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Governanc: Enforce adherence to standards governed through the PTS (Process & Product Technical Specifications). Ensuring that the brewery complies with all global technical governance requirements. Control and ensure implementation of local and franchise brewing manual content. Regulate concession and permit systems. Plant Auditing: Identify non-compliance and opportunities. Give specific recommendations to the brewing manager and plant manager regarding action required. Audit of plants against standard audit template. Feedback to Zone Brewing Manager and highlight areas of concern. Implementation changes related to projects and innovation: Co-ordinate process changes. Co-ordinate quality improvements. Co-ordinate project implementation in the Brewing department. Co-ordinate Global Brands brewing. Problem Solving: Work with Brewing manager to resolve the problems using VPO tools and practices. Identification of out of control situations or trends from quality results and process monitoring. Ensure pro-activeness in brewing process: VPO driven MCRS must allow for adequate identification of brewing concerns. Ensure that appropriate process monitoring and control systems are in place. Monitor all aspects of raw materials. Ensure deep understanding of VPO standards. Minimum Requirements: Completed Brewing Traineeship Good understanding of Standard Work Practices and VPO methodologies Exceptional knowledge of MES, eQMS, PaQT, PTS BSc Degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering At least 2 years production experience: 2 years of experience: as Brewing Area manager in Brewhouse, Cellars and/or Filtration. Demonstrated experience: in driving commercial decisions in a brewery (financial, operational, people). Checked out brewer Key Attributes and Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Analytical problem solver and demonstrated ability at implementing effective problem solving.
