We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Logistics Support Officer Location: Ibeju - Lekki, Freezone - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Description Goonite Hygiene Product is a major manufacturer and distributor company in the FMCG Distribution Sector for premium brands in the Health and Personal Care category like Lebrace Diaper and Besense Sanitary Pads meeting household needs in a vastly diversified demography, located at Ibeju Lekki needs. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing logistics processes, SOPs and structures. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or questions related to shipments. Must ensure trucks arrivals are timely trucks offload without shortages Understand the types and qualities of trucks required for shipment. Will be responsible for onboarding credible transporters with high emphasis on cost reduction/control. Collaborating with Sales Managers to optimize shipping routes for efficient result. Will be responsible for following up with transporters regarding truck bookings and transit issues. Must ensure that respective expected time of arrivals are met. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that reduce workplace accidents Must have good understanding of the parameters that affects rate fluctuation. Must be abreast of the rate for various locations. Requirements: Must reside at Ibeju Lekki / Eleko / Akodo. HND or BSc in any related field Must have worked in the FMCG Industry Preferably Diaper & Sanitary Pad companies Excellent communication and analytical skills Must have 1-2 Years working experience: in same role.
