The Aquatherapist will provide therapeutic aquatic sessions to patients, using water-based exercises and techniques to support physical rehabilitation, pain management, stress reduction, and overall well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities: include assessing patient needs, planning individualized aquatic therapy programs, guiding patients through sessions in the pool, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate treatment documentation. The Aquatherapist will collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals to coordinate care and ensure safety protocols are consistently followed. Additional duties may include educating patients and families on the benefits: of aquatic therapy, maintaining pool equipment and hygiene standards, and participating in case reviews or team meetings. Qualifications At least 5 years of proven experience: as an Aquatherapist. At least a Diploma in Aquatherapy or other related courses. A valid Professional practicing license. Personal Qualities Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans, including assessment, goal setting, and progress evaluation for diverse patient populations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working directly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a supportive and respectful manner. Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, including adherence to pool safety regulations, infection control standards, and emergency response procedures. Physical ability to work in and around water, assist patients with mobility, and manage equipment in a pool environment. Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain clear records and follow established clinical protocols.
