Read more about this company Architect Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 5 years Location Lagos Job Field UX, Design and Architecture Job Purpose: The Architect is responsible for the planning, design, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from concept development through construction completion. The role involves preparing architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and code-compliant solutions that meet client requirements. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Develop architectural concepts and schematic designs in line with client requirements, project objectives, and applicable standards. Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, specifications, schedules, and other technical documentation using industry-standard design software. Produce detailed working drawings and construction documentation for tendering and project execution. Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration. Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. Review contractor shop drawings, material submissions, and requests for information (RFIs), providing timely feedback and recommendations.
