This includes managing all departments (front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, security, and administration) to ensure excellent guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, staff productivity, and compliance with company standards. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and profitability of the hotel. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all departments. Conduct regular inspections of the property, guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. Coordinate inter-departmental activities to promote teamwork and operational efficiency. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service standards in all areas of guest interaction. Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth running across all departments. Financial Management: Ensure timely preparation of financial and management reports for the Executive Management team. Control operational costs and optimize resource utilization. Prepare and manage the hotel’s annual budget, including revenue forecasts and expense controls. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve profitability targets. Oversee cash flow management, purchasing, and inventory control. Human Resources and Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise hotel staff to maintain high performance and professionalism.
