We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Safety Manager Job Location: Odogunyan, Ikorodu - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across the organisation. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and statutory requirements. Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards. Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Organise and deliver safety training, induction programmes, and emergency drills for employees. Monitor the use of PPE and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. Prepare HSE reports, maintain safety records, and liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience: in Health, Safety & Environment within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and international safety standards. Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, OSHA) is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and incident investigation skills. Ability to develop and implement effective safety management systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
