Primary Responsibilities: Coordinating external audit engagements, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor queries. Assessing the impact of fair value movements on the Bank’s books and ensuring accurate recognition and disclosure in the financial statements. Managing the daily financial activities and transaction processing on Finacle. Assessing and implementing the impact of new and revised accounting standards on the Bank’s reporting and disclosures. Ensures compliance with internal controls, finance policies, and regulatory requirements: across all operational finance processes. Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory guidelines as may be required. Maintaining robust financial controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency of financial data. Oversees product setup and general ledger maintenance in alignment with business unit requirements: and CFO directives. Requirements: Proven experience: preparing financial reports and management reports. Interpersonal and conflict management skills Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial variances. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions. Experience: supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes. Candidate must be resident in Lagos. Excellent oral and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. 4 - 5 years’ experience: in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
