The role requires strong executive presence, stakeholder influence, and the ability to position FintechNGR as the leading voice of Nigeria’s fintech ecosystem. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the principal executive leader of FintechNGR, responsible for providing strategic, commercial, and operational leadership. Job Responsibilities: Reporting Line: Reports to: President / Governing Council Direct Reports: Directors across Membership, Advocacy & Programmes, Learning & Professional Services, Innovation & Technology3. Strategic Leadership & Execution Lead the execution of the Association’s strategic agenda (PIE: Participation, Innovation & Expansion). Ensure alignment between Governing Council priorities and Secretariat execution. Translate strategy into annual corporate plans, KPIs, and measurable deliverables. Drive long-term institutional sustainability and industry relevance. Commercial & Financial Leadership: Ensure financial sustainability through diversified income streams. Develop and execute revenue growth strategies across membership, events, training, partnerships, and digital products. Drive profitability and ROI across all programs and initiatives. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoring. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Leadership: Serve as the primary representative of FintechNGR to regulators, government, and global stakeholders. Build strategic partnerships across fintechs, banks, investors, and development institutions. Lead high-level policy advocacy and regulatory engagement. Position FintechNGR as a credible and influential industry voice. Membership Growth & Value Creation: Enhance member value through advocacy, networking, research, and business opportunities. Develop executive-level engagement programs and Communities of Practice. Ensure strong membership revenue growth and satisfaction. Drive aggressive membership acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. Innovation & Digital Transformation: Develop partnerships that enhance innovation and ecosystem growth.8. Organizational Leadership Promote adoption of emerging technologies and data-driven decision-making. Drive digital transformation across membership and operations. Champion innovation programs and ecosystem development initiatives. Build and lead a high-performance Secretariat with clear KPIs and accountability. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent: Ensure succession planning and leadership development.9. Governance, Risk & Compliance Establish a performance-driven culture with measurable outcomes. Provide timely reporting to the Governing Council. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies, and regulations.
