The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and supply needs to support efficient laboratory and clinic operations. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers for laboratory reagents, medical consumables, equipment, and general supplies. Process purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders in a timely manner. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve value for money. Monitor inventory levels and support stock control to prevent shortages or wastage. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and documentation. Follow up on deliveries, inspect received items, and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approved budgets. Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors and internal departments. Support cost-saving initiatives and report procurement activities as required. Requirements: & Skills Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical ability. Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic procurement/inventory systems. Honesty, integrity, and ability to handle confidential and financial information. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
