This role is ideal for technically inclined candidates interested in building a career in international trade compliance, customs operations, freight forwarding, regulatory affairs, and trade technology systems. Successful candidates must be adaptable, research-driven, and capable of learning complex regulatory, operational, and systems-based processes. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Global Trade Analyst to support international trade operations, customs compliance, ERP implementation activities, and cross-border logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate compliance records and operational reports. Support ERP and trade management system implementation projects, including data validation, process documentation, testing, and operational support. Assist with shipment monitoring, trade data validation, compliance screening, and documentation control. Identify documentation discrepancies, operational gaps, and potential compliance risks. Assist in workflow automation, operational reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Support compliance activities relating to Nigerian and international customs procedures and trade regulations. Review and process trade documentation including: Commercial Invoices SON, NAFDAC, FDA, NHTSA, USDA, MHRA, EMA and related regulatory documentation Customs documentation Air Waybills Packing Lists Bills of Lading Support international import/export compliance and customs brokerage operations. Conduct research on: Trade restrictions and PGA compliance requirements: Import admissibility requirements: HTS/HS tariff classification World customs regulations Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, carriers, terminals, and regulatory agencies. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum qualification: HND (Upper Credit) or Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Upper – 2:1) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Relations, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Psychology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Maritime Studies, Or related fields. Ability to learn technical regulatory, operational, and ERP system processes quickly. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional final year students with strong academic performance may also be considered. High attention to detail and organizational ability.
