We seek a highly qualified and experienced Food and Nutrition teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Food and Nutrition, excellent teaching skills, and must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues. The successful candidate will teach Food and Nutrition to students at the secondary school level, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and assess student progress. Responsibilities: Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum. Facilitate hands-on learning activities and project-based assignments to reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any disciplinary issues. Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including participating in extracurricular activities. Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a diverse range of Food and Nutritiontopics, using a variety of instructional methods and resources. Educational Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field. Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments. Teaching certification. 2 - 3 years of experience: teaching Business Studies or a related subject at the secondary level. Other Requirements: Commitment to the school's mission and values.
