We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor, Northern Nigeria Job Location : Kano Purpose The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Supervisor will support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental standards across the facility. The role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and preventing workplace accidents and injuries. The Job Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe working conditions. Promote safety awareness through training, education, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage first aid facilities and ensure prompt response to workplace injuries and incidents. Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, while driving corrective actions. Support the development, review, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Participate in safety audits, safety observations, and workplace risk assessments. Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation. Drive compliance with HSE regulations, corporate safety policies, FSSC requirements, HACCP, EIA, and OSHA standards. ? Qualification?s 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings. OND qualification in a related field. in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of cognate experience: in Health, Safety & Environment management. Experience: within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. The Person Must: Have a strong understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental management principles. Demonstrate excellent hazard identification and risk assessment skills. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence safe behaviors.
