We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Offshore Pipeline Engineer Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Testing & Integrity: Oversee pre-commissioning tasks like hydrotesting, cleaning, and ongoing corrosion monitoring. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work follows global engineering standards like DNV, API, and ISO. Route Selection: Map safe paths on the seabed using survey data, avoiding hazards like rocks and shipping lanes. Design & Calculations: Calculate pipeline wall thickness, on-bottom stability, and mechanical strength to handle high pressure and ocean currents. Installation Support: Write technical plans for laying pipes from specialized marine vessels (such as S-lay or J-lay barges). Requirements: & Qualifications Experience: 4 to 12+ years working on subsea or marine pipeline projects. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Offshore Engineering.
