The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and supply needs to support efficient laboratory and clinic operations. Clinix Healthcare is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Procurement Officer to join our team at the Ilupeju Branch. Key Responsibilities: Process purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders in a timely manner. Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors and internal departments. Source, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers for laboratory reagents, medical consumables, equipment, and general supplies. Follow up on deliveries, inspect received items, and resolve discrepancies. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve value for money. Support cost-saving initiatives and report procurement activities as required. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approved budgets. Monitor inventory levels and support stock control to prevent shortages or wastage. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and documentation. Qualifications & Experience: Completed NYSC. Previous experience: as a Procurement Officer (preferably in healthcare, laboratory, or similar service environment) is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPSMN) is an added advantage. Requirements: & Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic procurement/inventory systems. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical ability. Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Honesty, integrity, and ability to handle confidential and financial information. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
