We are seeking an experienced Factory Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining high quality and safety standards, optimizing plant performance, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Candidates must have a proven track record in the construction chemicals, building materials, or related manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, and regulatory standards across all plant operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and optimize manufacturing costs. Monitor operational KPIs, prepare management reports, and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance. Oversee production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Lead, mentor, and develop production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to deliver high performance. Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives are achieved. Collaborate with senior management to support business growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience: in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, quality systems, and maintenance management. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Proven experience: managing factory operations, production budgets, cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement projects. 8–10 years' experience: in manufacturing within the construction industry N800,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
