We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Account Officer Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Maintain proper records of expenses, advances and staff/vendor balances. Verify invoices, payment requests and supporting documents before processing. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and other financial schedules as assigned. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. Identify and report unusual transactions, discrepancies or financial control issues to the appropriate supervisor. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on overdue balances. Assist with tax-related schedules and statutory financial requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with the Company's accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. Support the preparation of budgets, cash-flow schedules and financial analyses as required. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules. Prepare and maintain payment vouchers, invoices, receipts and other accounting documents. Support internal and external audit exercises by providing requested records and documentation. Ensure all financial transactions are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation. Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations and promptly resolve identified discrepancies. Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Finance & Accounts or Management. Record and process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND.
