Do you have strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and the ability to drive a strong safety culture? We are seeking a competent and proactive HSE Officer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports. Organize and facilitate HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations, standards, and company policies. Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols. Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation. Promote a strong safety culture and encourage employee participation in HSE initiatives. Support emergency preparedness and response activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience: in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial environment. Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
